the purpose of this blog is to be a resource selection of videos, stories and discussions of the struggle for real people to find humanity and personhood in the very real struggle of gay and lesbian, bisexual and transgender providence. placed in a world with no understanding of what it means to be homosexual, why a homosexual would exist or for what purpose a homosexual should live, every day can be a struggle to find intrinsic value. people close to us even question our existence and right to be who we are.
i named this "mom's bridge" because i am a bridgebuilder, and because among other people, the bridge i am building is first and foremost for my mother. she is standing on the edge of a cliff seeking truth, wanting reconciliation, asking for resolution. i have built a bridge for her to cross and not fear what is below. mother however, is a afraid of bridges, so she will have to muster up the courage herself to cross this one. this blog is not about news or culture, there is no timeline here. the purpose of this blog is to be a resource for those seeking to see the real struggle at a first-hand glimpse.
